            Khairatabad Ganesh is the biggest as well as tallest Ganesh Statue at Hyderabad Old City (secunderabad). This Khairatabad Ganesh is located at a area called as Khairatabad. Most of the visitors come over this place to visit as well as to pray the god. Every year, this Khairatabad Ganesh is been placed during the "Vinayaka Chaturity" festival. Similarly in this year 2010, it has been designed in a excellent and unique way. Khairatabad Ganesh is designed with 5 head which is called as "Panchamuka Ganapati". from the behind it is designed with a 5 headed snake which is providing shelter to the Lord Ganesha. On the Right side of ganapati, it is designed with a Idol of Godesses Lakshmi and Lord Venkateswara. Similarly towards the right side, the Idol of Naga Devata is placed with his disciple and a saint wit axe. It was created as if the Lord Vinayaka is having a 2 headed peacock as his vahanam just behind him. Its really a nice idol at at height of 50 feet.  The laddu in the Lord Ganesh's hand is of 500kg.
